The Bhadra Sheela Memorial Institutions was initiated in 1980 with the prime objective of uplift of the classes and masses in and around the Lebong area. In 1981, the school wing was instituted with a view of catering only till the primary level but due to the pressure from parents and guardians, it was upraded to the ICSE level in 1990 and again to the ISC level in 1999.
